Dr. Taras Kulynych ("Dr. K")

Dr. Taras Kulynych, known as “Dr. K” to his patients, is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist who is dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care to patients in Jacksonville, FL.

Originally from Westchester, New York, Dr. Kulynych earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious NYU College of Dentistry in NYC. He then completed a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY, honing his skills in various aspects of dentistry.

With a passion for learning and staying at the forefront of dental advancements, Dr. Kulynych has completed numerous continuing education courses, focusing on facial esthetics, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, and endodontics. He is committed to using the latest techniques and technologies taught by the most respected clinicians in the world, with a particular emphasis on cosmetic dentistry and digital technology.

Went for a scheduled cleaning. Only a cleaning. $139. Fine, I new that. Getting ready for the cleaning and the dentist came in and said hi. Asked if there were any issues and I said no. He looked at my mouth, said nothing changed. He was literally in the room for 15 seconds and I didn't ask for or scheduled an "exam" and didn't consider it an exam. When I went to pay I was informed that 15 seconds the dentist was in the room cost me $77!!! and was told it was a 6 month "exam". Again I didn't ask for or schedule an exam. I WILL NOT be going back. So for your $77 "exam" you lost a customer who gets a cleaning 3 times a year. Is that really how you do business?
